The SCEI-HE English Bridging Programme is a targeted preparatory course designed to support international students in transitioning to Bachelor-level study by strengthening English language proficiency and academic skills; it bridges the gap between an IELTS 5.5 entry level and the IELTS 6.5 requirement for programs such as the Bachelor of Health and Community Services, developing students’ reading, writing, speaking, listening, and academic study skills through a structured 22-week, full-time program delivered in two progressive modules - an introductory phase focused on general English competence followed by an academic skills phase with formal assessment—equipping graduates with the linguistic confidence, academic literacy, and study readiness required for successful entry into and progression within SCEI-HE undergraduate programs.
